Tea Bowl - Crackle Glaze
40 euro
A tea bowl from a small workshop in Seoul. The crackle glaze, known in Korea as 빙렬 (bingnyeol), meaning "ice crack", is one of the oldest techniques in Korean ceramic tradition. The fine network of lines forms naturally as the glaze cools and contracts, and no two pieces crack in the same way. Dark red brushwork circles the outside, loose and unhurried. A piece that carries both technique and time.
Small irregularities may appear. These are marks of how it was made.
Care: Hand wash only. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
Packaging: Each set is carefully wrapped. We reuse packaging materials wherever possible.
Please note: We do not accept returns. All photos are unedited and taken on iPhone 13. Please review measurements and images carefully before purchasing.
